Geeta Dave
I am a community artist and muralist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Throughout the years I have committed myself to substantial active involvement in the community. While working on my Masters Degree in Creative Painting, I developed an interest in murals. I have always enjoyed working with large projects: they inspire me with the energy to give my best to the community. I have done several large wall murals in India as well as America, using many different mediums. During that time, I was most fascinated with the mosaic murals. Since then, my creations within the past 5 years have been of mosaic murals, mostly with glass tiles. I make every effort to individualize each piece. Special thanks to the Arts Council and the people of Greater Baton Rouge for their support and the opportunity to create public art projects.
